I like a wide variety of musical styles, but my first love will always be music with some edge to it.  Don't get me wrong, I love a good pop song as well and have the CD collection to prove it!  I also have a soft spot for progressive rock (King Crimson, Yes, Genesis, Spock's Beard) and progressive metal (Dream Theater, Symphony X, Fates Warning). 

A bass guitar that has enormous low end and just enough distortion on the top to make it sound mean is where it's at.  Think Doug Pinnick from King's X mixed with Chris Squire.  Fantastic!

Playing in  Project:Wilson has really opened my eyes to writing and playing for the song and the importance of a catchy hook / riff.  I look forward to continuing this project and writing new tunes.

I also built a studio in my home that we will be using to record.  Over the years I've been acquiring the pieces to create the studio and in the Summer of 2007, that dream finally became a reality.
